If you’re shopping for kids this holiday season, there are certain toys you want to avoid. A study published online Dec. 1, 2014 in the journal Clinical Pediatrics reviewed data from the National Electronic Injury Surveillance System from 1990-2011, finds 40 percent increase in toy-related injuries. Most injuries were associated with the collapsible, lightweight, foot-powered scooter.
